40. ST ELIJAH'S CHURCH, in Smac near Prizren |
The Church of St Elijah was built in 1994 in the village of Smac, in a field near Prizren, 10 km north of the city. It was built as the foundation of Zivko Djordjevic by Milosav Lukic.

After the German KFOR troops had arrived, this christian church was set on fire, vandalized and mined from the inside, by Albanian extremists, in July 1999. All explosive charges did not explode. |
