The ancient Church of the Holy Healers in the village of Novake, near Prizren, was restored in 1991.

As soon as the German KFOR soldiers arrived here, Albanian extremists demolished the church and set it on fire. They tried to blow it up by explosives. Tombstones around the church were overturned and smashed. |
